November Favourites
November has been a huge, busy and life changing month for me which has gone by oh so fast. I completed my final prac at uni, bought and moved into our first home with my boyfriend and went to Sydney for IMATS. December, believe it or not, will be much quieter!
This month I have been keeping some old favourites close by but also had the chance to try out a few new goodies too. I decided to go through my makeup drawer and dig out a few products that could use some more love which resulted in a few making the cut for my monthly favourites.
Here they are!

Batiste Dry Shampoo Divine Dark
I know, I know, I always mention this product, but to be honest it is my holy grail. I can not live without this stuff whether it’s to hide the fact that I’m too lazy to wash my hair or to add some much needed volume. It's honestly the best!
Sukin Micellar Cleansing Water
This is one of the best micellar waters that I have tried. It breaks down and cleans off makeup so effortlessly without me having to scrub at my face. This product is great for waterproof makeup and sensitive skin. Highly recommend!
Nivea Hydro Care SPF 15 Lip Balm
I adore this lip balm. It is one of the only lip balms that doesn't soak in instantly, doesn't taste horrible and actually works! This is my 5th tube of this (no joke) and I will continue to purchase it forever! It is incredibly nourishing and repairs cracked and dry lips. You’ll love it!
Apple Watch Sport Series 1 38mm Rose Gold Lavender Band
So this was a HUGE impulse buy. Did I need it? No. But I bought it anyway, I couldn't help myself. Once the regret passed, I am now in love with it and am so glad I impulsively bought it! This watch comes in handy so much, I get all my notifications, emails, texts and alerts on my watch without having to have my phone on me. Plus, it counts my steps, heart rate and so much more. Perfect, for when I’m at work or on Prac as I can see all alerts without having to constantly check my phone.
Beauty Blender Blush
I picked up this sponge to use under my eyes, even though it is marketed as a crème blush and bronzer product. I’m going to be a rule breaker, and good thing I was because this sponge is perfect for applying, blending out concealer and baking under the eyes. I found the green mini sponges waayyyy too small for this job, but this one is perfect! Plus its much bouncier than the original beauty blenders so it is much more gentle!
Maybelline Fit Me Matte & Poreless Foundation
I am so glad I dug this foundation back out again as I forgot how much I love it! It does exactly as the label says and leaves an amazing full coverage finish. I mix it with my Makeup Forever foundation to get the perfect shade which leaves a stunning finish and lasts all day. I love this foundation that much that I bought it in my fair shade and my tanned shade!
Too Faced Born This Way Concealer
I LOVE THIS! This concealer is stunning under the eyes and has high coverage. It blends out seamlessly into any foundation and doesn’t crease. Hooray! There are a multitude of shades within the range so you are bound to find a shade that matches.
Benefit Dandelion Blush
The shade is a beautiful soft pink shade. I love this for a subtle pop of colour on the cheeks as it isn’t over powering as has a soft hint of shimmer within it. Such a gorgeous summer blush shade.
NYX Intense Butter Gloss Tres Leche
This is by far my favourite gloss formula at the moment. It is a thick pigmented gloss which lasts longer than any gloss I’ve tried. It doesn’t sink into the lines on my lips and it doesn't leave streaks on my lips when they press together. The brush on the gloss is perfect as it is a flat dofoot applicator that applies the product perfectly!
Real Techniques Foundation Brush
This brush is fantastic at blending out foundation and leaves a flawless finish. It doesn't leave streaks or take of the product whilst being blended. The bristles are incredibly soft and dense which ensures the flawless finish I desire.
Real Techniques Concealer Brush
This is my favourite concealer brush! The bristles are dense and ensure that the concealer is blended out seamlessly and leaves a flawless coverage. The brush doesn't drink all the product too! I’ve definitely been leaning towards the brush a lot lately. Highly recommend both of these brushes!
I'd love to know your November favourites, please leave a comment!
Until next time,
Ashlee Louise
