June Bellabox!
Hooray, a new month means a new Bellabox! I love receiving my Bellabox in the mail each month, as I get to try a range of haircare, skincare and makeup products for an incredibly affordable price. Each monthly box costs $17.95 and this month’s samples I received are worth over $91. Bargain!
I love being able to test out a variety of different products as it gets expensive purchasing full sized products only to realise that you don’t like them, they don’t work or in my case break out. Bellabox includes a range of samples to try as you receive about 6 sample products and sometimes a full size product too. Over the last few months not only have I found a variety of products that I love so much I’ve gone and bought full size versions of, but I’ve also fallen in love with products that I never would have ever bought!
This month I received 5 samples and one full sized product that I have been reviewing over the last fortnight. Here are my thoughts!
Your Tea Skin Magic Tea – RRP $35 60 Pack
I was so excited when I saw that I got a sample pack (10) of these tea bags as I have heard many great things. They claim to assist in the appearance of your skin, aid digestion, acne, hormonal skin and eczema. I instantly had to try these as my skin could use some help this winter. First thoughts, I didn't like the smell of the tea bags at all but I was hoping that one they were infused in the water the taste may be better. Unfortunately, I was wrong. I’m not a huge fan on the taste, to me it tastes like warm water although I’m used to my fancy T2 Green Teas. I persevered and tried a few over the next few days. I didn’t notice much change in my skin, but my skin is pretty stubborn so that could be why. If you’ve tried it and had a better experience, let me know I might be doing something wrong!
Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel – RRP $24.99
I have been dying to get my hands on this cleanser and boy was I stoked when I saw this little sample tucked down in the bottom of my box. The product is a water gel consistency that doubles the skins moisture throughout the day for a healthy looking, radiant glow. Of course, I used it that night eager to see how it worked. I am in love! I love how this product left my skin looking and feeling amazing. It wasn’t left to feel dry and it felt clean. This product did an excellent job at removing any makeup and I didn't break out. Hooray!! I’m definitely getting a full size of this one.
Dermal Therapy Lip Balm – RRP $4.95
This lip balm has been my saving grace this winter. If you live in Australia and have chapped or dry lips from this freezing harsh winter, then you need to go and get this, you can thank me later! I have been using so many different balms and nothing had been working until my Bellabox delivered me this guy. It definitely lives up to its claim of intensely hydrating severely dry and chapped lips in a hour. My lips look and feel so much better after using this and I can finally wear my matte lipsticks again! I better get a back up..
Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleansing Wipes – RRP $7.50
A sensitive skins best friend. These do a great job at removing makeup and excess dirt from the face. The package says that they are ultra soft and gentle and I agree! It felt amazing using these to take of my makeup as they didn’t feel harsh and dry like most wipes do. They are soft and moist (sorry, I had to say it!) and just amazing. These have now replaced my usual facial wipes as these are so much more gentle. Thank you Cetaphil!
Magnetix Nail Polish – RRP $14.95
Okay I need some assistance with this one. This polish contains magnetic particles and when used in conjunction with the magnets you can create funky designs. Firstly, the colour is quite pretty and I needed to paint my toes so I thought why not give this fancy formula a try. I read the instructions and followed what it said, yet the design didn’t work. I tried again, nope. And again, still nope. I am so confused as to how I am going wrong. I have followed the directions but I can’t seem to get the pattern to work. If you have tried this please let me know. I’m glad that I can still wear the colour despite the magnets not working!
Colgate Optic White High Impact White Toothpaste – RRP $9.99
I have used this toothpaste before and I loved it. It is one of the only whitening toothpastes that I have tried that I have noticed a difference with. It claims to help achieve 4 shades whiter teeth, although it’s hard to tell when there is no guide. I enjoy the minty fresh taste of this and it leaves my teeth feeling great. I’m glad I got a sample of this one as it’ll be a great size to chuck in my travel bag!
Mizon Tone Up Sheet Mask - RRP $4.00
This was one very interesting, weird product. I've never used a sheet mask before so it took me a minute to figure out how to apply this bad boy. After about 5 minutes I figured it out and had put the mask on. The mask claims to brighten the skin, protect the skin and help it look healthier than before! It definitely did a great job and standing up to its claim. This mask left my face feeling great, looking great and nourished. The best part was that it didn't break me out. I definitely will need to grab another one of these!
I scored very well with this months products and I am so glad I got to try these products. It’s always a great surprise seeing what goodies I get each month as I love reviewing what I get. I haven’t been disappointed in a product yet! (Touch wood) If you love the sound of getting a range of samples to try each month, you should definitely give Bellabox a go. You’ll love it!
