My Top 6 Fave Beauty YouTubers!
Majority of people I know are addicted to watching TV every night or are religiously following a TV series. Me? Oh I'm addicted and slightly obsessed with watching beauty videos on YouTube. And, with that addiction comes favourites. I am subscribed to a copious amount of channels on YouTube but I do have my select favourites that I keep coming back to time and time again. With YouTube and makeup videos becoming such a huge trend at the moment, I thought I'd share with you who I'm loving to watch at the moment, in no particular order. Trust me, If you love talent and a great personality, you're going to love them!
1. Kathleen Lights

I have been watching Kathleen for about a year now and I LOVE her! She has a fun and amazing personality which makes her videos enjoyable to watch. Her makeup tutorials are looks that are actually achievable and can be worn on an everyday basis. I also enjoy Kathleen because she talks about relevant life issues and gives her honest opinion on products! She has also done several collabs with Colourpop makeup which are amazing. Definitely recommend!
2. Desi Perkins

Can we just take a minute to appreciate this woman's beauty....
I have only been watching Desi for about 9 months now and have loved every minute. She has the most outgoing personality and I love how confident she is. Her talent is another main reason I watch her channel. If you want to know how to create a killer wing on an eye look that is phenomenal, go watch Desi. I get excited when she uploads a new video, because i know it is going to be so creative and artistic. Definitely recommend her channel if you love amazing talent!
3. Lustre Lux aka Katie

Katie's channel is named Lustre Lux and is another amazing artist with phenomenal creativity. Her and Desi are in the same friendship circle so there are often collabs between the two which are worth the watch! Not only do I love Katie's creativity, skill and personality, I watch her because she uses reasonably priced products, tests out new products and gives her honest opinion. I also watch Lustre Lux because we have similar sized eyes, which helps give me tips and looks that I can create! Winning!
4. Shaaanxo

Cult beauty favourite, NZ beauty vlogger Shaaanxo is a very popular channel across the beauty world and it's easy to see why. She is such a free spirited, down to earth gorgeous person and that radiates through her channel. She does many 'series' on her channel including swatch videos, vlogs, makeup tutorials and makeup first impression and reviews. Shannon's channel is one I watch for inspiration or if I want an opinion on how a product wear during the day and how they look on someone (lipsticks). Shannon has created her own company selling makeup brushes and lashes which are of amazing quality, and has created a palette with BH cosmetics, achievements which I see as an inspiration. Definitely one of my favourites that I can't get sick of watching, despite my boyfriends what my boyfriend says!
5. Patrick Starrr

I LOVE THIS GUY! I stumbled across Patrick a few months back and boy am I glad I did. He is so outgoing and hilarious with an amazing talent in makeup it astounds me. I wish I could do my makeup as stunning as he does. He is always so happy, confident and chirpy in his videos and his personality makes me laugh. His looks are always on the full glam side, as he stacks three lashes on top of one another, need I say more!! But they are always stunning to watch. I love watching how he pulls together a full glam look on his face as he has many tips for hiding imperfections, and beards! I will never get tired of watching his channel.
6. Lauren Curtis

I have been with Lauren since her days of having 100,000 subscribers, now she has over 3 million! Lauren was the one who gave me tips and inspiration for my formal makeup 5 years ago and has continued to give me inspiration ever since! I did stop watching her for a while when she went moved to Sydney as I felt she became cocky about her channel, but since she has moved back to Perth I began watching her again and remembered why I enjoyed her channel all those years ago. She does stunning looks with majority being achievable looks using reasonably priced products so I am able to buy them and recreate her look. Definitely glad I returned to her channel.
