Make Up: Best 10 Under $10!

Let me just start by saying how hard it was to find products that are UNDER $10! Why oh why is makeup so expensive in Australia?... Anyway moving on!

If you're like me, you love a good bargain and will look for the sale section or head online to get great products and even better prices. Here I have compiled my top 10 makeup products for under $10. Some I purchased in stores and some I purchased online, but don't worry I have provided links for you on where to find these. You're welcome.

Here they are!

1. NYX Eyebrow Cake Powder (Dark Brown)

Where to buy: Target

Price: $9.95

Thoughts: This product is my go to brow product. The powder is fine and pigmented so it doesn't leave a chalky residue or sit on top of the hairs. I love using the wax to stick down the hair then fill in the brows using the darkest powder. This product has lasted me over a year now. A little goes a long way!

2. LA Girl Pro Concealer (Natural)

Where to buy: iKatehouse https://www.ikatehouse.com/

Price: $2.99

Thoughts: I LOVE this concealer. The colour I use has a slight peachy undertone so it works great at hiding my under eye bags. It is a medium coverage, has a thin consistency so it doesn't cake up and blends like a dream. I also use the orange colour for colour correction and the colour toast to cream contour. I highly recommend trying it, and for $2.99 what have you got to lose?

3. Essence Sun Club Matte Bronzing Powder (Blondes)

Where to buy: Target, Priceline

Price: $6.15

Thoughts: This has been a go to bronzer for quite a while now, with this being the third one I have repurchased. I HATE shimmery bronzes so with this one being completely matte, it wins my approval. It is highly pigmented, smells like coconut and does a fantastic job of adding a natural tan flush to the skin when I'm looking too pale. LOVE!

4. Essence Multi Action Volume Mascara (Black)

Where to buy: Target, Priceline

Price: $5.10

Thoughts: I was a bit nervous at first when I first purchased this as it was so cheap, but I gave it a go and now it is my everyday mascara. I LOVE this brush it has, it is a plastic brush with small bristles that comb through and separate the lashes perfectly without any clumping. This mascara doesn't smudge, flake or transfer, which is the three things I want in a mascara, oh and non clumping of course!

5. Rimmel Lasting Soft Colour Blush (170 Genuine Plum)

Where to buy: Priceline, Kmart, Target, Grocery Stores

Price: $9.95

Thoughts: The colour of this blush is so pretty and natural, giving the cheeks a soft flush. The product is very pigmented so a light hand to apply this one is a must. I have these in a few different colours and each one is the same in pigmentation and pay off, and they don't wear off during the day!

6. NYX Powder Blush (Taupe)

Where to buy: Target, Crush Cosmetics

Price: $9.95

Thoughts: If you are looking for an ashy toned brown powder than this is for you. This is the PERFECT colour for contouring as it isn't orangey and creates a stunning shadow for more natural looking contour. The pigment and colour pay off is amazing so a light hand is a must when applying this. I highly recommend this product. Makes contouring a dream!

7. ColourPop Ultra Satin Lip (Echo Park)

Where to buy: https://colourpop.com

Price: $6 USD

Thoughts: Once you try Colourpop once, you will become addicted. Seriously! This liquid lipstick is amazing. The formula is creamy, easy to apply and lasts all day! I picked up a few shades and have not been disappointed. If you're looking for a long lasting, non-matte lip colour than these are for you!

8. Essence Soo Glow Cream to Powder Highlight (Bright up your life)

Where to buy: Target, Priceline

Price: $5.10

Thoughts: I love this when I want so soft highlight as when applied with fingers or a duo fibre brush, it creates a soft and light glow to the face. The product is a cream in the pan but when applied it looks like a powder, so it doesn't cake or go chunky. Nothing more frustrating than when cream products get chunky or wipe the foundation off, am I right?

9. ColourPop Super Shock Shadows (I HEART This)

Where to buy: https://colourpop.com

Price: $5 USD

Thoughts: If I could use one word to describe this it would be: Pigmented! All of these shadows from colour pop are the most pigmented cream shadows that I have ever come across and for the price, who can complain! The shimmery ones are phenomenal leaving a beautiful colour on the lids. I love this colour, which is a shimmery champagne shade as it is so versatile and goes with any makeup look. Definitely try Colourpop out, you will not be disappointed!

10. SocialEyes Lashes (Glamorous Shorty)

Where to buy: http://socialeyeslashes.com.au

Price: Range from $3.95 - $7.95. Lashes pictured are $6.95

Thoughts: These lashes are high quality and look amazing when worn. I'm addicted to these not only because they are an Aussie brand and there are a multitude of different styles, but because they are easy to apply, don't look too fake and last at least 7-10 wears when looked after oh and they are cheap! I'm an eyelash junkie so finding good quality lashes for cheap, how can I stay away?!

I hope you enjoyed reading my top 10 makeup products for $10 and head out to try some of these, I can guarantee you won't be disappointed. I'd love to hear what your favourite products are that are under $10, so leave me a comment at the bottom of this post :)
